30th Annual Spring Photography Contest

I have been chosen as one of the finalist of 30th Annual Spring Photography Contest sponsored by Photographers Forum magazine and Sigma.This year the judges were: Christopher Broughton, Faculty, Brooks Institute of Photography; Christy Schuler, commercial photographer and instructor; and Dr. Joe Ippolito, author, commercial photographer, and professor at Florida A&M University.

I won 1.st place in IPA 2010 (International Photo Awards) and Honorable Mention

I am pleased that my series 'Language of stillness' has been chosen as 1.st place in international photo competition "IPA 2010". I also won an Honorable Mention prize with my photo called "Breakable". It is really great message for me. They said, in their 8th year, they are extremely honored to have received an unanticipated number of entries, nearly 15,000 submissions spanning 103 countries.

The Print Space Gallery photo competition
ThePrintSpace is running competitions of the best photos world wide, to be judged by an expert panel of professional photographers and industry experts. Theme was "Light". One of the price is collective exhibition in September 2010 in East London gallery in The United Kingdom.








I won Best of 20 photographers in Art of Emotion

I am pleased that my photo 'Rejected' was chosen as one of the best 20 in international competition Art of Emotion. All chosen works will be published in BLUR's next issue in June 2010.

Center International Awards: I won 2010 Directors Choice Award

I feel so flattered I have been chosen as the one of the winners of 2010 Directors Choice Award. You can follow the Center Awards Winners THERE.

Curators Choice: I made it to the 2nd round of judging and were among the top 11% of work submitted.
Project Launch: I also made it to the 2nd round of judging and were among the top 17% of work submitted.

The annual Center Choice Awards recognize outstanding photographers in three categories - Curators Choice, Directors Choice and Editors Choice awards. This competition attracts the most esteemed jurors including the Photo Editor from the New York Times Magazine and the Curator of Photography at the Museum of Modern Art. This year, over 6,000 images were submitted to the awards from 24 different countries including Denmark, Iceland, Iran, Portugal and Singapore.

The Directors Choice jurors and Newspace Center for Photography representatives noted - Our selection is unified by a subtle elegance, a delicate humanity, and a sense of mystery, as well as a remarkable clarity of perspective and a high level of craft. As a whole, the images chosen speak to our primary interest in showcasing challenging contemporary fine-art and fine-art documentary work.

Sony World Photography Awards
My work But I Would has been selected for the short list in the Conceptual category. In total, over 43,700 images were entered into the competition and my work has stood out above the rest and has been rated amongst the top ten photographers, in my category, by the Honorary Judging Committee of this year's Awards. This is a huge achievement. By being shortlisted, my image will be exhibited at the SWPA exhibition in Cannes as well as be printed in the official 2010 SWPA Book.

International Aperture Awards 2009
What a great email i got few minutes ago. I have won 3 prizes in IAA 2009. Two Silver prizes in Landscape and Abstract/Illustrative category and one Bronze prize in Abstract/Illustrative category.

The 2009 International Aperture Awards is the world's most prestigious international online photography competition with a combined prize pool of USD $62,000 in cash and prizes.
