So the exhibition called MONO has been launched in the center of Prague and it will last for next 3 months till 3.6.2010. There are few photos from the opening event - it was amazing party. Thank you to all who came. There are photos - link to facebook album: THERE.





My work But I Would has been selected for the short list in the Conceptual category. In total, over 43,700 images were entered into the competition and my work has stood out above the rest and has been rated amongst the top ten photographers, in my category, by the Honorary Judging Committee of this year's Awards. This is a huge achievement. By being shortlisted, my image will be exhibited at the SWPA exhibition in Cannes as well as be printed in the official 2010 SWPA Book.

The shortlist and my name will be announced to the international press today, February 23rd, and my work will be listed on our website on a homepage gallery. The winner of each category will be announced in Cannes at the 2010 Sony World Photography Awards ceremony on the 22nd of April, 2010.





I am glad I could co-operate with new American musical project called Sudden Death Over Time. It is the new project of Shaun Frandsen. Inspired by such artists as Joy Division, My Bloody Valentine and The Smiths, Sudden Death Overtime blends both modern electronics with the ethereal elements of its extracted influences.

Since my last solo exhibition in Prague has elapsed year. Now I would like to introduce a comprehensive set of twenty large-format photographs called "MONO". Because I have really strong personal relationship to Prague, this project will be given in early March, first in Prague gallery ICON Gallery, located in the street V Jame 6 between Wenceslas Square and the street Vodickova. Thereafter it will be presented to the coast of the U.S. state of North Carolina. American continent leaves after 2 monthly exhibition. It will either all or individual parts of the project MONO exhibited in selected major cities of European countries such as London Printspace Gallery, in the heart of Amsterdam in the Netherlands WALLS gallery or Cyprus.There will be more places during year.

The book is titled "Luomo immobile" written by Itallian authoress Enrica Bonaccorti. The genre is Fiction. It will be publish in Italy by covering its 7.000 publications by Marsilio Editori publisher.

Gawker Artists is a curated online art community and exhibition program promoting the works of artists of all media.
